Literature Text

Lightning crash, fire burn
Doesn't matter where you turn
Storm rolls in, sun shines bright
Nothing seems to look quite right
Stars that glimmer in the sky
Jump and dance as they pass by
Take a step, turn around
Your feet no longer touch the ground
Fly away through the air
Falling now, but you don't care
Go so fast, hit the ground
Pass right through without a sound
Scorched by the volcanic fire
Things are looking pretty dire
Feel the pounding of your heart
Feel your mind torn all apart
Hear the echoes of your own scream
As you wake from your nightmarish dream

Just a short one that I figure lives up to its name rather well. I figured a light read here while I try to finish up my obsessive project of the past two weeks (if work etc would leave me alone, I'd have it done by now!).

So fear not, much more in-depth stuff coming as soon as I get it done! ;)

No, I'm not stalking you. lol... It's just rare that I find lit on dA that I enjoy reading, so I'll be perusing your gallery a bit more today.

I like how this one is fast paced. I think it's perfectly written, the timing and rhyming just right to carry the reader along. So another fave. :)
